Youth India Kuwait honors expatriates over 40 years of age
Kuwait City: Youth India Patron and KIG President Faisal Manjeri inaugurated the event organized by Youth India at Abbasiya Pravasi Auditorium, Kuwait on the occasion of Hala February. There is a growing tendency for even the government to abandon expatriates and seek to close the Ministry of Overseas Affairs, and stories are being written about exile.
In his inaugural address, he said that only Youth India, which is striving to bring exile to the forefront of the society at a time when novels and films are being discussed and receiving awards in the society, can honor those who have lived in exile for forty years.
Benjamin, who portrayed exile through the life of a goat, and Babu Bhardwaj, who narrated the story of exile. Mukundan also said that Youth India had been honored before, and that today’s youth should be honored for experiencing that green life of exile first hand and for leading today’s generation to lead such a peaceful exile.In his inaugural address, President CK Najeeb said that Youth India had taken the initiative to hold such an event because it understood that it was its responsibility. Renowned film director Unni Attingal addressed the gathering.Paul alias Parekkadan Wareed Pailan from Alur, Thrissur, Mohammad Koya from Kozhikode, Koroth Abdul Majeed from Farooq College, Kozhikode and Malappuram Mongam, who have been in exile for over 40 years, were honored by Youth India.Thazheparambil Akbarali, Sheikh Ali Shah from Kozhikode, Ojjintrayakath Kunjathu Koya from Kozhikode Nadakkavu, Neelakandan Kutty from Mavelikkara, Alappuzha, Mattuvayil Yusuf from Elathur, Kozhikode, PM Abdu Rahman from Kodungallur, Thrissur, Isakoya from Kozhikode, Ojjintakath from Naduvattam, Kozhikode. Abdul Latheef, a native of Nainam, Kozhikode,Ponnampath Kamaluddin Koya from Mahi, Kozhikode, MTP Yusuf from Thrikkarippur, Kasaragod, Neelkanthan Raghunathan from Mavelikkara, Faisal Manjeri, Afzal Khan, Siddique Valiyakath, Apsara Mahmood, Afsal Ali, Afsal Mahmood, Afsal Ali,Chacko George Kutty, Rizwan Abdul Khader, Khalilur Rahman, PP Junub, Anian Kunju, K Moidhu, CK Najeeb and Shafi Koyamma were honored with Ponnada and Momento.Famous trainer Afzal Ali’s presentation on ‘Expatriate exile’ explaining the current living conditions in the world of exile and the need to maintain financial discipline.Children’s art shows were also held. The convener of the event was Haseeb, Mehnaz, NK. Shafi, Abdul Basit, Mohammad Haroon, Safwan, Ajmal, Hafiz Mohammad and Abdul Aziz led the program. Youth India General Secretary Shafi Koyamma welcomed and C.K. Najeeb also said thank you.
